The consummate host, Ted McIntosh has been involved in the hospitality industry in many capacities for over 20 years. A longtime wine and spirits enthusiast, and a passionate quality beer lover, Ted has worked for two breweries, a winery and imported single malts into Canada. Ted is also a graduate sommelier with a very comprehensive understanding of Ontario VQA wines in particular. No surprise then that the pub has been the recipient of the VQA Wine Award each year since it opened. Ted’s passion for single malts and Irish whiskies is demonstrated in the breadth and length of the pub’s scotch and whisky list. It is not unusual to see Ted decked out in his kilt of magnificent McIntosh tartan and accompanying regalia conducting a scotch nosing for a table of guests.
