With our collective family roots firmly planted in England, Ireland and Scotland, it is no surprise that our seasonal menus have been inspired by the memorable gastro pubs that we have visited in the U.K. We strive to bring that culinary philosophy to our seasonal lunch and dinner menus at the Black Dog featuring as many local foods as we are able to source including meat, fish, cheese and produce, all prepared with simplicity, style and a bit of ethnicity and served within the framework of a local village pub.
With few exceptions, everything we serve is made in our kitchen, including our fantastic soups, renowned burgers, vinaigrettes, sauces, chutneys, daily specials and creative desserts.
The Black Dog is all about true taste and big flavour, a philosophy that is reinforced on a daily basis.
